Build the Machine That Builds the App: AI + Dev Environments + CI/CD for Mobile Teams
We are entering an era of unattended, agentic coding, where AI operates across the entire software development lifecycle. But there's a catch: an AI coding agent is only as effective as the development platform behind it.
Stripe merges over a thousand AI-generated pull requests per week. Spotify has merged 1,500+ agent-produced PRs into production. Neither breakthrough came from better models alone. What set them apart was the infrastructure and tooling they built to run them.
This 40-minute session is about what that looks like for mobile teams. We'll get into AI agents running inside remote dev environments (RDE) where the agents use MCP, skills and tools to complete tasks. In RDEs, the build env doubles as the dev env for both humans and the agents working alongside them. We'll get into AI features built into the pipeline: build fixing, automatic pipeline generation, selective test execution, test prioritization, self-healing releases tied to crash signals. And we'll get into the ways to make this fast enough to actually work: build cache, right-sized machines, vertically integrated stack, parallel workflows.
You'll leave knowing whether your infrastructure and tooling are ready for agentic development of mobile apps, and what to do if they aren't.
